Standard Medical Checks for Evan

This morning we had medical checks for Evan for his Visa application to head to the US.  Everything went very well. It was good seeing lots of other adoptive families at the clinic and made us feel a little more "normal" than we've felt in a while.

Evan got to spend some time with just Mama and Kathryn today too as I did some Visa paperwork.  It all went very well.  He seems to be beginning to figure out who "mama," "daddy," and "Kathryn" are.  They are just names to him now, but the relationships will come.  We certainly are getting to spend a lot of time together which should help him understand who his family is now.

I also spent some time outside walking around our awesome hotel grounds with the kids (they needed the outside time) and a little bit of time playing in a "play room" in the hotel.

Not much else to say about today.  We are basically in a wait for the completion of the medical paperwork and for the Visa application.  The next two days will be spent sightseeing and shopping and then we'll have our consulate appointment on Tuesday.
